Your data, photos and account

Your data belongs to you. Here's what Pocket Creator stores, how to withdraw photos and consent, and how to delete everything.

The Pocket Creator app is currently available in German only. Buttons and labels appear here exactly as in the app, in German, with an English translation in brackets.

Open settingsTap Einstellungen (Settings) at the bottom right, then scroll down.

What Pocket Creator stores

Device ID: instead of an account with email and password.
Business information: name, industry, audience, tone, description, website, colours, logo.
Photos: your reference photo and photos you upload for your own ideas.
Created posts: images, captions, hashtags, plans.
Instagram: the connection and your numbers, if connected.
Usage and plan: how many images you've created this month.

OpenAI generates the texts and images, so your details and photos are sent there for processing. Full details are in the privacy policy (German).

Before you upload a photo of yourself, Pocket Creator asks for your consent. The first time you tick two boxes: that Pocket Creator may process photos of you to generate images, and that only you are shown in the photo. For later photos a short confirmation is enough.

Einstellungen → Referenzfotos und Einwilligung löschen (Delete reference photos and consent). This deletes all your reference photos on our server and resets your consent. Images already created, your plan and your texts stay. New posts are created without you until you add a photo again.

AI label

Every image contains an invisible “made with AI” marker. Photo-style images also carry a small AI mark at the bottom right so your followers can tell the image was made with AI. You switch the mark on or off under Profil → KI-Vermerk (AI label). It's on by default.

Deleting your account and all data

Einstellungen → at the very bottom Konto und alle Daten löschen.
Confirm with Endgültig löschen (Delete permanently).
Pocket Creator removes everything on our server and restarts with setup.

Cancel your subscription first. Deleting inside Pocket Creator does not end an Apple subscription. Cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. See Plans and subscription.

Already deleted the app?

If you deleted the app without deleting your account first, email us at info@pocket-creator.com and include your device ID. Without it we can't match your data. You'll find the ID under Einstellungen → Geräte-Kennung → Kennung kopieren (Copy ID). It's best to note it down before removing the app. More on the data deletion page (German).

Frequently asked questions

Is my data kept if I reinstall the app?

The device ID lives in your iPhone's keychain and usually survives updates and reinstalls. In that case you'll find your posts again.

Are my photos used to train AI?

How OpenAI processes the data it receives is described in the OpenAI section of our privacy policy.

Can I back up my posts before deleting?

Yes. Open each post in the gallery and tap Speichern. The images go to your Photos.
