Gallery and editing posts
Every finished post lands in your image gallery. There you see how it looks in the feed, adjust texts, regenerate images and tidy up.
The Pocket Creator app is currently available in German only. Buttons and labels appear here exactly as in the app, in German, with an English translation in brackets.
- Open a postTap a post in the Bildergalerie (Image gallery). At the top you filter by Alle (all), Gepostet (posted), Geplant (scheduled) and Offen (open).
- Edit the captionTap Bearbeiten (Edit), change the text, then Speichern (Save).
- Regenerate the imageDescribe in one sentence what should change and tap Neu generieren (Regenerate). From Pro.
- Delete severalLong-press an image or tap Auswählen (Select), tap more, then delete and confirm.
Tap a step to jump straight to it.
The gallery
You reach it from the home screen (Zu deiner Bildergalerie, To your image gallery), from a ready banner, or under Einstellungen → Bildergalerie. Small icons on the thumbnails show the status: a tick for published, a clock for scheduled.
The post in detail
At the very top you see your post as it will appear in the Instagram feed: with your name, the image in 4:5 format and, for a carousel, the dots for swiping. The top right shows whether it's a single image or a carousel.
Below that you'll find:
- Tag zum Posten auswählen (Pick a day to post): publish automatically. See Posting and scheduling.
- Jetzt auf Instagram posten (Post to Instagram now): save the image, copy the caption, open Instagram.
- Speichern (Save): all images of the post to your Photos.
- Bild neu generieren (Regenerate image): see below.
- Caption with Kopieren (copy), Bearbeiten (edit) and Neu (new).
Adjusting the caption
- Copy: puts caption and hashtags on the clipboard.
- Edit: change the text directly, then Speichern or Abbrechen (cancel). Confirmation: “Caption gespeichert” (Caption saved).
- New: Pocket Creator rewrites caption and hashtags. If there's no caption at all, this reads Caption generieren (Generate caption).
Hashtags are created along with the caption and displayed. You can change them individually on scheduled posts in the calendar via Caption bearbeiten (Edit caption).
Regenerating an image
Tap Bild neu generieren (for a carousel, for example, Bild 2 neu generieren). In the window, describe what should change, such as “brighter, with latte art”. Below it you see how many regenerations you have left this month.
If you uploaded a photo for your own idea, Pocket Creator reuses it.

Regenerations have their own counter and don't use images from your monthly quota. On the free plan, tapping shows “Nur mit Pro” (Pro only). When your counter is used up, the app suggests the next plan up.
Deleting posts
- Tap Auswählen at the top right, or long-press a thumbnail.
- Tap every post you want to remove.
- Tap the delete button, for example 2 löschen (delete 2).
- Confirm. Deleting can't be undone.
Frequently asked questions
I can't find a delete button inside a post.
Deleting happens in the gallery overview via Auswählen. That works for a single post too.
Does “regenerate image” count as a new image?
No. It has its own counter (Pro 12, Max 25, Enterprise 50 per month).
What does “Offen” mean?
Posts that are neither scheduled nor published.
