Know exactly what you want to post about? Describe it in one sentence, add your own photo if you like, and Pocket Creator turns it into a finished post. Your topic takes priority over everything else.
The Pocket Creator app is currently available in German only. Buttons and labels appear here exactly as in the app, in German, with an English translation in brackets.
- Open your own ideaErstellen → Eigene Idee posten (Post your own idea).
- Describe your ideaWrite what the post should be about in the field Beschreibe deine Idee… (Describe your idea). One sentence is enough.
- Add a photo (optional)Foto from your library or Kamera (camera). You confirm that you own the rights to it.
- Choose the formatEinzelbild (single image) or Bilderreihe (carousel, from Pro).
- Choose the personAutomatisch (automatic), Mit mir (with me) or Ohne Person (no person).
- Generate the imageTap Bild generieren (Generate image). The post is created in the background.

Your idea comes first
With Eigene Idee posten, Pocket Creator implements exactly the topic you describe. It isn't reinterpreted or swapped for something else. Your business information only adds tone and style.
Good descriptions are specific: “Our new plum cake is here, this weekend only” works better than “cake”.
No idea? Categories as a nudge
Under Keine Idee? Tipp eine Kategorie an: (No idea? Tap a category) you'll find 15 prompts, including your own product, before / after, new offer, customer review, meet the team, behind the scenes, opening hours, tip, current topic, promotion, menu, event, location, seasonal and service. Tapping one shows matching examples in the input field. Nothing is inserted automatically, you still write your idea yourself.
Using your own photo
With Foto you pick an image from your library, with Kamera you take one right away. The photo becomes the main subject of this one post, typically your product, your shop or your dish.
- Confirming rights: the first time, you tick two boxes: that the photo is sent to OpenAI for processing, and that everyone shown agrees. After that, one box “Ich habe die Rechte am Bild …” (I own the rights to the image) is pre-ticked. If you untick it, creation won't start.
- For this post only: the photo doesn't replace your profile photo. If you regenerate the image later, Pocket Creator reuses the same photo.
- Upload fails: you'll see “Dein Foto konnte nicht hochgeladen werden — der Post wird ohne Foto erstellt.” (Your photo couldn't be uploaded, the post will be created without it.)

Format
Einzelbild is one image. Bilderreihe is four connected images in the same look, available from Pro. On the free plan, the carousel is marked “PRO”. More in Carousel.

Pocket Creator never invents a main person who looks as if it's you. You save your photo under Profil → Logo & Foto. A saved logo goes into every image.
A post from a link

On the free plan you get one image from your own idea per month, on top of the two single images. On paid plans there's no separate allowance: every own idea counts towards your images. A carousel uses four images. Failed images are refunded.
Frequently asked questions
I chose “Mit mir” but I'm not in the image.
Then there's no photo of you saved under Profil yet. Without one, Pocket Creator deliberately doesn't create a person meant to represent you.
Can I upload photos with other people?
Only if everyone shown agrees. You confirm this explicitly on your first upload.
Will my photo be changed?
It serves as the basis. Pocket Creator turns it into an Instagram image in your style, for example with different lighting, background or text. If you don't like the result, from Pro you can regenerate it with a one-sentence instruction.
