Let Pocket Creator read your website
If you have a website, Pocket Creator can read it and learn what you offer. The result feeds into every post together with your business information.
The Pocket Creator app is currently available in German only. Buttons and labels appear here exactly as in the app, in German, with an English translation in brackets.
- Enter the addressProfil → Deine Homepage (Your website): enter your web address, for example www.your-company.com.
- SaveTap Speichern (Save).
- Pocket Creator readsYou'll see “Wir lesen deine Homepage …” (We're reading your website). This takes a few seconds.
- Check the resultUnder Das haben wir erkannt (This is what we found) you see summary, services, focus, audience and colours. Neu einlesen (Read again) updates it.

What Pocket Creator reads
Pocket Creator opens your home page and up to three further pages of the same website, for example “about us”, “services” or “references”. Only publicly accessible content is read: texts, headings, page titles, colours and the embedded logo.
You see the result under Das haben wir erkannt:
- a short summary of your business,
- your services,
- your focus,
- your audience,
- the colours of your website.
Below it the app notes that this feeds into every post together with your business information. Posts created after reading your website pick up your real services and keywords.
Logo from your website: if Pocket Creator finds a logo during setup, the app suggests it. It's only used once you explicitly confirm (“Ist mein Logo”, That's my logo).
During setup
On first launch Pocket Creator already asks “Hast du eine Homepage?” (Do you have a website?). If you enter your address there and tap Übernehmen (Apply), industry, name and description are pre-filled. Fields you've already filled in stay unchanged. See Getting started.
Changing or removing it
- New address: change the field and tap Speichern.
- Your website has changed: tap Neu einlesen.
- Stop using it: clear the field, then Homepage entfernen (Remove website) appears.
When reading doesn't work

Frequently asked questions
Will my website be changed?
No. Pocket Creator only reads publicly visible content, just like a browser.
Where does the content go?
It's sent to OpenAI for analysis. The result is stored with your account until you change or remove the website or delete your account. Details in the privacy policy (German).
I don't have a website.
No problem. The website is optional. A good description under Über dein Geschäft does the same job.
