Notifications and the bell

Pocket Creator lets you know when an image is ready or a post went live. For that you need to allow notifications once. Everything else is collected by the bell in the app.

The Pocket Creator app is currently available in German only. Buttons and labels appear here exactly as in the app, in German, with an English translation in brackets.

Enable notificationsOn the home screen tap the card Push-Mitteilungen aktivieren (Enable push notifications).
AllowiOS asks once. Tap Erlauben (Allow).
Get notifiedWhen an image is ready you get “Bild fertig!” (Image ready!), even with the app closed.
The bellThe bell at the top right collects all notices. Alle gelesen (Mark all read) tidies up.

The push notifications

Notification	When
Bild fertig! (Image ready!) – your post “…” is ready.	A post has finished.
Bild nicht erstellt (Image not created)	Creation failed or broke the content guidelines. You weren't charged.
Beitrag veröffentlicht (Post published) – your scheduled post is now live on Instagram.	A scheduled post went live.
Beitrag konnte nicht veröffentlicht werden (Post couldn't be published)	Instagram rejected several attempts.

Pocket Creator doesn't send advertising or posting reminders as push notifications.

Allowing notifications

As long as notifications aren't allowed, the home screen shows the card Push-Mitteilungen aktivieren: we'll notify you as soon as your image is ready. Tapping it opens the iOS prompt. Tap Erlauben.

Declined before? Then iOS won't ask again. Allow notifications in iPhone Settings: Settings → Notifications → Pocket Creator → Allow Notifications. From the app you get there via Einstellungen → Mitteilungen.

The bell in the app

The bell at the top right shows a number for unread entries. It collects:

Bild fertig: … (image ready) and Bild neu erstellt (image regenerated): opens the post in the gallery.
Content-Plan bereit (content plan ready): opens the plan.
Quota: “Bereit für deinen ersten Post?” (ready for your first post?), “X von Y Bildern erstellt” (X of Y images created), “Noch 1 Bild übrig” (1 image left), “Monatslimit erreicht” (monthly limit reached).
Wochenüberblick (weekly summary): at most once a week with Instagram connected, with reach, followers and published posts.

New entries appear under NEU. Alle gelesen or pulling down marks everything as read.

Inside the app

If you're in the app when a post finishes, a banner appears at the top: “Dein Beitrag ist fertig” (Your post is ready), tap to view and post it. It disappears after a few seconds or when you swipe it up.

Frequently asked questions

I don't get any notifications.

Check in iPhone Settings under Notifications → Pocket Creator that they're allowed, and whether a Focus mode is on. Then open Pocket Creator once so the app registers again.

How do I turn notifications off?

Einstellungen → Mitteilungen opens iPhone Settings, where you switch them off. The bell in the app keeps working.
