The app at a glance

Pocket Creator has five sections, reached through the bar at the bottom of the screen. Here's what lives where and what the home screen shows you.

The Pocket Creator app is currently available in German only. Buttons and labels appear here exactly as in the app, in German, with an English translation in brackets.

StartYour home screen: greeting, posts in progress, gallery and, once connected, your Instagram numbers.
First stepsErste Schritte: four tasks that walk you through the key features. The card disappears once all are done.
NotificationsThe bell at the top right collects finished images, quota reminders and the weekly summary.
PlanYour calendar with scheduled and published posts. Pro and above.
CreateErstellen: the orange plus button in the middle. Every new post starts here.
ProfileProfil: your business information, such as logo, photo, style, tone, website and colours.
SettingsEinstellungen: plan, gallery, Instagram, notifications, contact and deletion.

The home screen

From top to bottom, Start shows:

A greeting with your name: good morning until 11:00, hello until 17:00, then good evening.
First steps with a counter, for example 1/4 (see below).
A progress card while a post is being created. The ring shows an estimate. The line below shows the current stage: Strategie wird erstellt (building the strategy), Bildprompt wird verfasst (writing the image brief), Bild wird generiert (generating the image), Caption wird geschrieben (writing the caption). If several posts are running, the card shows how many.
Enable push notifications, if you haven't allowed them yet.
Your image gallery as a preview, with a link to the full gallery.
Your performance (Deine Performance): views and likes for 24 hours, 7 or 30 days. Only with Instagram connected.
This week (Diese Woche): your posting streak (Pro and Max).
Up next (Als Nächstes): your next scheduled posts.
Your latest posts with views and likes. Without an Instagram connection, a connect button appears here instead.

First steps

The card guides you through four tasks. Tap one to jump straight to the right place:

Erzähle über dein Geschäft (Tell us about your business) opens your business information.
2. Bild generieren lassen (Generate your 2nd image) opens the create menu. Done once you have two posts with images.
Instagram verbinden (Connect Instagram) starts the connection.
Upgrade holen (Get an upgrade) shows the plans.

When a post is ready

Pocket Creator lets you know in three ways:

Notification on your lock screen: “Bild fertig!” (Image ready!) with the title of your post. Notifications must be allowed.
Banner at the top of the app: “Dein Beitrag ist fertig” (Your post is ready). It disappears after a few seconds or when you swipe it up.
Bell: the entry stays there until you've read it.

Notifications

Tap the bell at the top right. New entries are listed under NEU (new), read ones under GELESEN (read). Alle gelesen (Mark all read) or pulling down marks everything as read.

Image ready opens the post in the gallery.
Plan ready opens the plan.
Weekly summary (Wochenüberblick) appears at most once a week when Instagram is connected, summarising reach, followers and published posts.
Quota reminders such as “Noch 1 Bild übrig” (1 image left) or “Monatslimit erreicht” (monthly limit reached) keep you informed.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the plan locked for me?

The calendar and the whole content plan are part of Pro, Max and Enterprise. On the free plan you see a blurred preview with Auf Pro upgraden (Upgrade to Pro).

I don't see any Instagram numbers.

“Your performance” and “Your latest posts” only appear once Instagram is connected. See Posting and scheduling.

Can I close the app while an image is being created?

Yes. Creation continues on our server. You get a notification as soon as the image is ready.
