Plans, limits and subscription
Pocket Creator starts free. More images, carousels, the content plan and automatic posting come with Pro, Max and Enterprise. Payment and cancellation run through your Apple ID.
The Pocket Creator app is currently available in German only. Buttons and labels appear here exactly as in the app, in German, with an English translation in brackets.
- Check your usageUnder Einstellungen → Dein Plan (Your plan) you see how much you've used this month and when the counter resets.
- Manage planTapping Plan verwalten (Manage plan) opens the plans.
- Monthly or yearlySwitching shows the prices. Yearly saves you about 17%.

Prices are final prices in euros as shown by Apple in the German App Store. Prices in other countries may differ. The app always shows the current price from the App Store.
When the counter resets
Your “month” is a 30-day period that starts when you first opened the app, not the calendar month. You'll find the date under Einstellungen → Dein Plan: Reset am … on the free plan, Zähler-Reset am … on paid plans.
When you're running low, the app lets you know: “Noch 2 Bilder diesen Monat übrig.” (2 images left this month), “Das war dein letztes Bild diesen Monat.” (That was your last image this month) and in the bell, for example, “Monatslimit erreicht” (monthly limit reached). Once everything is used up, you'll see “Dein Kontingent für diesen Monat ist aufgebraucht.” and the plans open.
Failed = not charged. Every image is reserved when creation starts and refunded in full if creation fails or breaks the content guidelines.
Bonus for a rating
Rate Pocket Creator in the App Store and you get a one-off bonus: 10 images on paid plans, or 7 single images plus 3 own-idea images on the free plan. Bonus images never expire and are only used once your monthly quota runs out. You'll find it under Einstellungen → App bewerten (Rate the app). The app also asks once on its own.
Switching plans
- Einstellungen → Plan verwalten.
- Choose Monatlich (monthly) or Jährlich (yearly).
- Tap the new plan and confirm with Zu … wechseln (Switch to …).
Apple decides when the switch takes effect. Upgrades usually apply immediately. Downgrades usually start when your current period ends. The app tells you, for example: “… ist gekauft und startet am …, wenn dein aktueller Zeitraum endet.” (… is purchased and starts on … when your current period ends.)
Cancelling
You cancel through Apple, not inside Pocket Creator. Two ways:
- In Pocket Creator under Plan verwalten, tap your current plan and choose Abo verwalten (Manage subscription). This opens your Apple subscriptions.
- Or in iPhone Settings: tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Pocket Creator.
After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Then you automatically move to Free. Your posts are kept.
New iPhone: restoring your subscription
Sign in on the new iPhone with the same Apple ID, open Plan verwalten and tap Käufe wiederherstellen (Restore purchases). On success you'll see “Wiederhergestellt” (Restored). If Apple finds no subscription, it says “Kein Abo gefunden” (No subscription found). Check that you're signed in with the right Apple ID.
Redeeming a code
If you've received an offer code, for example from a referral partner, tap Code einlösen (Redeem code) under Plan verwalten. Apple's redemption sheet opens. Afterwards you'll see “Code eingelöst” (Code redeemed). Alternatively, in the App Store: tap your profile picture → Redeem Gift Card or Code.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a trial?
The free plan has no time limit. You can try Pocket Creator as long as you like and switch only when you need more.
What happens to unused images?
They expire at the end of the 30-day period and don't carry over. Bonus images from a rating never expire.
Do I get an invoice?
Payment runs through Apple. Apple emails you a receipt, and you can find all purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
