Create a single image
A single image is an Instagram post with one image and a finished caption. You just pick the style. Pocket Creator does the rest, matched to your industry and tone.
The Pocket Creator app is currently available in German only. Buttons and labels appear here exactly as in the app, in German, with an English translation in brackets.
- Tap plusTap Erstellen (Create) at the bottom centre.

- Create the postTap Post erstellen (Create post). You'll see “Glückwunsch! Dein Beitrag wird erstellt.” (Congratulations! Your post is being created.)
- Follow the progressA card with a ring runs on the home screen. You can close the app now.
- Open the finished postTap the “Bild fertig!” notification or the banner. The post is in your gallery.

How the style suggestions are made
After you tap Einzelbild erstellen, a progress bar runs through four stages: understanding the topic, analysing your industry, searching successful posts and designing matching styles. You then see a list under Welchen Stil möchtest du? (Which style do you want?).
Each suggestion has an icon, a name and an example hook, so you can hear right away how the post will sound. Typical styles include explainer, myth vs. truth, avoid mistakes, top list, step by step, before / after, quiz, checklist and storytelling. Which ones appear depends on your industry.
On the free plan you can choose from 3 styles. The others show a lock, with Alle Stile freischalten (Unlock all styles) below. From Pro, all suggestions are open.
What goes into your image
- Your business information: industry, tone, description and, if imported, your website.
- Your photo: if you've added one, the image shows you. Without a photo you get a scene without an invented main person.
- Your logo: a saved logo goes into every image. In photo-style images Pocket Creator tries to place it in the scene, for example on a sign or clothing. If that doesn't work, it sits as a small badge at the top right.
- Your style: if you've chosen a look under Profil → Dein Stil (Your style), it applies to the image.
- Text in the image: is checked. If there's a typo, Pocket Creator regenerates the image once. Invented numbers or statistics are removed.
- AI label: every image carries an invisible “made with AI” marker. Photo-style images also get a small AI mark at the bottom right. You can switch the visible mark off under Profil → KI-Vermerk (AI label).
Waiting and done
The card on the home screen is called Dein Einzelbild wird erstellt (Your single image is being created). The percentage is an estimate. Creation runs entirely on our server, so you can close the app or do something else.
When the post is ready, you get the “Bild fertig!” notification, a banner appears in the app and an entry lands in the bell. What you can do next is covered in Gallery and editing and Posting and scheduling.

A single image uses one image from your monthly quota. It is reserved when creation starts. If creation fails, you get it back in full. The same applies if an image breaks the content guidelines: you then get the notification “Bild nicht erstellt … Dir wurde nichts berechnet.” (Image not created … you weren't charged).
Each time the style list loads counts as one suggestion. If loading fails, nothing is deducted. Your “month” is a 30-day period starting from when you signed up, not the calendar month. You can see when it restarts under Einstellungen → Dein Plan (Your plan).
Frequently asked questions
Can I set my own topic?
With a single image, the topic comes from the style you pick. For a specific topic or your own photo, use Post your own idea.
The card says “Etwas ist schiefgelaufen” (Something went wrong).
Creation was cancelled and the image has been refunded. Just start the post again via Erstellen. If it keeps happening, contact us via Einstellungen → Kontakt.
“Dein Kontingent für diesen Monat ist aufgebraucht.”
This means your images for the current 30-day period are used up. You can wait until the counter resets or change your plan. See Plans and subscription.
How long does an image take?
Usually one to two minutes. It can take longer when demand is high. If you see “Gerade ausgelastet” (Busy right now), try again in a few minutes.
